Okay, I know....I'm on hiatus, *looks at husband giving her a look*....but, BUT!!!  I tried ranting to the husband about this and he was like "meh, and your real problems are what?"....-_-...  Look I know in the scheme of things, you know, like the state of the world or what not, this crap doesn't matter, but FOR THE LOVE OF ... WHAT DID THEY DO TO ISHIDA'S VOICE?!!  *headdesk x 100000000* 

Look, I know it sound like I'm being an elitist...I don't really give a shit honestly.  His VA made him sound like a prissy little bitch.  Could he possibly make him sound ANY MORE GAY?!   Now, I like my Ishida a little gay and pissy, don't get me wrong, its just him.  But he practically had the kitten claws out, mwrooor! hiss!  *facepalm* 

I accept the fact that I'm in love with the way Non-tan does his voice....and that I would probably be disappointed no matter what I heard.  But this guy was just too soft and, and so not our favorite Quincy!.  And don't even get me started on the script changes...("I am your enemy."? *headdesk*) 

I know, all of you are saying (except Debbie, DEBBIE IS WITH ME, AREN'T YOU DARLING!!), "you'll just have to get use to it."  Well, no, I don't and I refuse.  This was it for me.  I'll only keep watching cause frankly, my kid wants to watch the damn thing in English.  I am also slightly masochistic, so I just have to see how they can screw over Renji.

Oh and I ALSO refuse to accept Urahara's VA.  Its horrible.  I don't care what you people think.  Ura-chan is suppose to be mysterious and playful and smexy.  This guy is just wacky and creepy.  (This has nothing to do with Miki-sama, nope! X3)  Everyone else has grown on me slightly but Ishida was the final straw.  And yes, I KNOW there are worse dubs (please no one tell me about the One Piece one, I've heard it all before) but that doesn't mean I have to like the mediocre ones...

... Suddenly I'm very glad that I forget to watch the dub (no really). Not to mention, Rukia's movie announcer voice got to me too much.

I know I'm going to start watching again so that I don't miss the ep where Renji and Byakuya show up. I have a feeling that no matter who they cast for Bya, I will giggle. XD;

Buuut I haven't seen more than 5 or so eps of the dub, so I can't comment specifically without seeing the characters in question. *shrugs*

I'm with you on the Bleach dub. I'm really disliking their VA choices for all the main characters.

You've got a daughter, so you've probably never watched Digimon, but the guy doing Ishida's english dub is a Digimon villian. I can't stop hearing Ken Ishiwhatzit when dear Uryuu opens his mouth. Wah!

Kisuke Urahara's voice over actor should be fired. And the job given to Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.
I feel that his voice would better suit Kisuke Urahara.
His voice is better suited to Kisuke's voice then the voice over actor they have currently playing him.
Oh, if you don't know who Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is or sounds like, you might want to rent Mortal Kombat the movie. The first one. He plays Shang Tsung.
I can actaully close my eyes and picture Cary's voice coming from Kisuke's lips.
I think he is a better choice than the one they picked for his voice.
The current voice over actor makes Kisuke sound like a druggie coming off a high. In my opinion.
Don't even get me started on Ishida's voice! That guy made him sound like he is a gay person or at least a snob. I prefer the japanese voices and the sub better.

::laughs:: Everyone hates Ishida's VA, but when I first heard it I was relieved he didn't sound exactly like Ken... Gods, you have no idea... but people just keep bitching and moaning about it. I don't really care cus I watch it cus I forgot what the hell happened in the first part of the series... =_= URahara's voice amuses the hell outta me cus I keep hearing Kankuro cus he's the same VA as that character in Naruto... ::laughs::

I do fear for Byakuya... And most of the voices have grown on my anyway, and I never particularly hated anyone, so meh. For me, dubs are a vehicle to getting more merchandise in the states, so if I do buy it, I watch subbed anyway... Except for Saiyuki because the dub for that was HILARIOUS... Greg Ayers = LURVE
