Thought I would post this for Kage-chan, seeing as how she said she hasn't fallen victim to his pregnancy beams yet, this may do it for her.....
The pregnancy beams thing is kind of an inside joke I guess....we were talking one day and were joking that Ura-chan was really ran out of soul society for making women pregnant with his smexy look of d00m, and now he wore the hat because child support was expensive....XD!

Date: 2006-09-13 09:38 pm (UTC)8D!
Well, people keep comparing me to Nanao, if that explains anything...
Date: 2006-09-13 09:43 pm (UTC)....which is why I'm probably more likely to remark on the attractiveness of the design of female characters, because I've often tended to hang around more with guys. >_>;;
I'll be Rangiku to your Nanao....(only without all the sake...)
Date: 2006-09-13 09:50 pm (UTC).....
or just like great pecs and abs....XDXD!
Eh, I think Seren's already claimed the role of Rangiku...
Date: 2006-09-13 09:55 pm (UTC)I honestly tend to be fairly disinterested in how characters look, other than in a purely artistic/aesthetic sense. I tend to pick up much more strongly on personality and such, especially picking out the characters that everyone else dislikes at first but I see something more in them that isn't revealed 'til muuuuch later on....
::snorts:: Should I be Soi Fong? I'm snarky enough...
Date: 2006-09-14 02:23 am (UTC)Well, do you also act like a hormonal teenager about the person(s) you're obsessed about? >_>
Date: 2006-09-14 02:45 am (UTC)I ::squee:: and ::gasm:: yes, but then I'm off on my way...
Date: 2006-09-14 02:54 am (UTC)*snickers* Well I dunno, should we seek another opinion on it?

Date: 2006-09-14 03:30 am (UTC)Their relationship is definitely interesting, but I shift towards Matsumoto and Hitsugaya's relationship if I want to analyze. I also did a kind of character analysis on Byakuya, too... For some reason, Bleach just makes me think a lot... as much as I did in Death Note...

Date: 2006-09-14 03:36 am (UTC)*chuckles* Byakuya is one of the characters I saw through right from the start. Where my friend would insist he was acting like a jerk, I had a certain level of sympathy for him, even before knowing the full extent of his circumstances. And Matsumoto and Hitsugaya are interesting, yeah, but I think I tend to gravitate towards the more mature characters...

Date: 2006-09-14 03:44 am (UTC)Byakuya amuses me to no ends, and I wish I couldn't remember what I thought of him the first time I saw him besides 'Ooo, sexy' and 'Ouchies! You stab people for the kill, don't you?'. I like the potentially angst filled relationships the most, because I am sadistic, I suppose. Hitsugaya, Matsumoto, and Ichimaru are a fun little relationship bog to sift through.
I don't think I ever just write off a character as an asshole or jerk. I just take them as they are and wait for them to get fleshed out, in which case I go 'Aa, so 'that's why!' or 'You really ARE an ass!'.

Date: 2006-09-14 03:51 am (UTC)Byakuya is probably seriously the most Lawful character I have EVER seen. I mean, wow. But I can totally sympathize with him, too- maybe not to that degree, but I do have a bit of that personality where making a promise is like physically binding. You just do not break it. Period. The thought of having to break a promise or commitment can start to make me feel almost physically ill. So I can really see where Byakuya would be in a painful position there, being caught between two conflicting promises and unable to break either and equally unable to fulfill both.
Yeah, angst isn't so much my thing. Even the few ficlets I've written that've had relatively darker tones, there tends to be a certain level of positive implications underlying it all. Guess it's just how I think/see things or something. >_> But I've always tended to get along better with people who're older or more mature, so I suppose it's no surprise that those are the characters I tend to focus on as well.
Naw, I don't either, but I usually know from my gut impressions pretty early on whether there's a "that's why!" reason or not...

Date: 2006-09-14 03:58 am (UTC)I just like to torture characters, apparently. That and sarcastic snarkiness at their expense seem to go well with me. As far as friends go, all my closest in real life are younger than me. But on the internet I seem to friend ones who are older, who I can pyscho babble with...
I tend to ignore my gut instincts, so it's a wonder...

Date: 2006-09-14 04:06 am (UTC)I'm nice to my characters. Doesn't mean bad things don't happen, but... it's not something done purely for amusement, or whatever.
I used to always get along with my teachers better than my classmates. >_>;;
I doubt and second guess mine all the time, but they tend to wind up being right.
think we should stop spamming anytime soon?no subject
Date: 2006-09-14 04:11 am (UTC)I love my characters, and teasing them. Anything malicious is done for further character development. Especially if I want their entire outlook to change...
I did my work and was quiet, so the teacher's didn't really notice me much except for that blank stare I gave as they lectured making them wonder if I was paying attention... My Chemistry teacher was like 'Well, a C is average, but with that blank look on Kage's face, I really can't tell if it's getting through or not...'
I look forward to Manda exclaimation of surprise/horror when she looks in her inbox later today /this morning, if she hasn't been watching it all and laughing this entire time... ::looks at comment count:: whistles:: Yeah, we should...no subject
Date: 2006-09-14 04:16 am (UTC)I just... I dunno. I can't be actually malicious, apparently. >_>
*snickers* Where I was the one finishing the homework early and spending the rest the class period explaining to people who didn't understand the lesson the first time 'round.
*snickers* oh yes, very much look forward to that. XD and there's always IM or something?no subject
Date: 2006-09-14 04:24 am (UTC)Really, that's a good thing...
I did everything else except the classwork until halfway through the time allotted, then finished it just as it was due.
I have AIM, but I'm not on right now... in fact, after this post [and the other one we're still spamming] I'm going to bed... class in the morning...no subject
Date: 2006-09-14 04:26 am (UTC)I'd like to think so.
That's what I tended to do more of since starting college. >_>
*snickers* see you tomorrow, then? my IM info is in my userinfo...
