The pregnancy beams thing is kind of an inside joke I guess....we were talking one day and were joking that Ura-chan was really ran out of soul society for making women pregnant with his smexy look of d00m, and now he wore the hat because child support was expensive....XD!

*snickers* Yeah, I seem to be oddly immune to that sort of thing. Always have been. Most of my ability to guage a character as "cute" or "hot" or whatever is what I learn from other people I know and the comments they make.

....which is why I'm probably more likely to remark on the attractiveness of the design of female characters, because I've often tended to hang around more with guys. >_>;;

I have my own idea of what is pleasing to my eye.....I tend to have a thing for, er, bad boys...its entirely subconscious I assure you. Otherwise, how do you explain my obsession with Renji-kun, the tattooed bad boy of soul society or Grimmjaw, the rebel of the Arrancar....*sigh* I think I have some sort of complex......

I honestly tend to be fairly disinterested in how characters look, other than in a purely artistic/aesthetic sense. I tend to pick up much more strongly on personality and such, especially picking out the characters that everyone else dislikes at first but I see something more in them that isn't revealed 'til muuuuch later on....

I'm always interested in how a character looks for the sheer sake of drawing the style to incoorperate pieces of it into my own so that I can 'hopefully' get better... Now as far as why I like a character, it's all for personality. Now, I couldn't give you a character that was 'ugly' per say that I still liked because it's hard to come across an 'ugly' main character for any anime... Maybe a dork, but not just flat out ugly...

Well, do you also act like a hormonal teenager about the person(s) you're obsessed about? >_>

Yeah, I know I tend to unconciously mimic the original style of stuff when I draw fanart. >_> But I really don't find characters visually appealing in any kind of sensual way or such. Never have. And hence why I go very o_O when people start fangirling/drooling over various characters...

I don't really drawn fanart. I haven't since SM/DBZ, and that was a LONG time ago... I've developed my own characters and their story that I work on when I draw... And not being attracted to an anime character is good... less likely to go OMFG SO smexy ::buy:: like fangirls tend to do. I do some major fangasming over voices though. Crispin Freeman is the sex! Love his voice...
