So....I survived the whirlwind trip to the in-laws and my family's places.  Five hours from here to the in-laws for a day then 3 more hours for a day at my family's place for their gathering.  Then turn right around and go 7 hours home.  -_-;;  *is tired*  But makes everyone happy.  Its not like they want to see ME anyway.  Its the short, cute and spoiled chibli I live with that is the required guest nowadays.  And guh, did she get the big haul again this year.  Car was packed coming back.  I'm gonna have to get rid of some of her crap just to have room for the new crap.  *sighs*  I have also opened more plastic boxes and untied more twist ties in the last day then I ever want to AGAIN.  (They make toys parent-proof to get into, did you know that?)  I also think that some of our family hate us with some of the presents she received....like the PERCUSSION SET.  (My mother hates me, I know it.)  or the craft set with the 100000 little pieces she now has scattered all over the living room (Remember to get Greg's cousin's children something equally menacing next Christmas.)  Some things will keep her quiet though, like her new Junie B Jones books she loves and the entire collection of Dr. Seuss.  Of course, I probably should have rethought the Disney Princess Karaoke Keyboard.  (Had a moment of insanity, yes thank you...she asked for it...)

I did get some great things I needed.  Note to all unmarried friends.  When you DO marry, you don't get fun stuff from family or friends.. you get USEFUL stuff.  I am happy for my new cookware from my dad though, mine was really looking pathetic.  Also got new digital camera, really for myself and Greg together from him.  Mom got me a sushi set and a sake set.  My brother and his wife got me, of course nice framed pic of niece and favorite incredibly expensive (but not for her, she's a hairdresser) haircare stuff.  Moneys from various people, including my grandparents and Greg's grandparent.  When you have children, alot of times you cease to be a entity anyway, its all for the children.  Greg's parents got me some clothes, which I am always cautious about other people buying me clothing, but one of my sisters-in-law must have went and helped.  All in all, not a bad Christmas, got more than I expected really.

But I need to say a big thank you to AC who got me what I wanted mostly here on the eljay!
