The only fandom I'm convinced of staying IC with is Bleach. I have no idea why I've been able to relate to these characters so much better than any other fandom I've been in... to the point of actually writing fanfics, it's scary... D:

Well, just figured I'd let you guys know. I can't show you our planning post because it's f-locked to only the Bleach characters' accounts. As the post says, sekrit plans, yo.

But it should be good. And funny. Partly because Kenpachi was nominated to do the actual posting of it. XD

I see. I can usually relate to any character I want, if I spend the time to think about them and get into their heads. So I play Nanao, but also Motoko from GitS:SAC, Saber from Fate/Stay Night, Mokona from Tsubasa Chronicle (*got talked into that one*), an original character or two...

Well, maybe I should rephrase. I can relate easily, even think about how they do stuff and maybe how they react, but as far as *writing* what I'm thinking, that's where the gap is... If I could do an original character... ::bursts out laughing:: OMG, I would SO be Schwanz and reek all sorts of Havoc! Or be Blake, and all emo and wanting to fight everyone... ::totally would get in a fight with Kenpachi::

Well, Kenpachi was nominated because he is crack, apparently, and also we decided that his character was probably most well-recognized of the shinigami on Sages, because of his frequent crazy posts. He's walked in lost, walked in drunk, walked in bloody as heck and grinning liek a maniac... not to mention frequently asking people to fight him. *shakes head*

Oh, OCs are totally allowed on Sages. There's a decent number of various ones. ^_^

I can only imagine. He is't afraid of anything except a lack of anything to do... I bet you Zaraki's RPer is loving his characte because he gets to do some crazy shit... >_<

The only problem and advantage, really is you can't tell when they're being OOC unless they've been there a really really long time... ::blinks:: I always wondered, if you RP two characters, can you reply to your own post? D: Like if Zaraki was talking to Fai, and Ikkaku suddenly joins in... Technically, it's only 2 dplayers, but three characters...

Well, yeah, OCs are totally up to the invidual RPer to decide what's IC and what's OOC.

And you can. I don't think there's any rules against it. It's not really encouraged, and most people dislike self-threading because it can get extremely tedious, but I think sometimes it happens. I mean, with all my characters, I've definitely had times when one character's posted something, then a half-hour later another of my characters sees it and goes all "asfahdfahag I HAVE TO SAY SOMETHING!!" so I let them reply. I try to keep it to a minimum, though, and really avoid it if there's anything resembling potential major character development going on. I figure eh, it happens, and if it's good RP, no one else is really gonna care.

Yup, totally. Though people who know which characters you RP would know that it's you... but I've had more than one character responding to a post before and one of my friends still forgot that I RPed both of them.... XD
