Date: 2006-09-13 09:05 pm (UTC)Yet apparently it was popular enough and/or had a good enough story to get an anime adaptation made even after it was cancelled, so go figure. Maybe next story Watsuki does (well, other than his oneshots *is looking forward to the new Embalming*) will get a little more attention...

Date: 2006-09-14 01:58 am (UTC)As far as anime adaptations go, how do they even decide? It can't just be on popularity because some of the anime adaptations out there are like 'Buh, what manga is this based on? Never heard of it...' Even though I love the maho shoujo cheese factor of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, I will never understand how they milked 44 episodes out of 7 tankouban. That is a lot of filler... But I am looking forward to the Death Note and Nodame Cantabile anime adaptions. Those should be fun... ::snerks:: Kappie Yamagumi is L [or is it Light?] Man... I'd love to hear either character growl...
