Well just watched....still gonna be at the party though!  (FINNY'S PARTY! YESH!)  Karin's voice was the best in my opinion overall.  Isshin's VA got the character just right, but the voice....I don't know, not husky enough.  Ichigo's voice though is much better in the episode than in the preview.  Thank goodness.  I think he will grow into his part, you can tell he is really trying.  But Rukia......RUKIA....*weeps*.....you'll see.....

Also there is a small preview of Kon at the end....or "Cone" as they pronouce it...*eyeroll*.  His voice makes me shiver and cry.....no really.

Overall, pretty good dub, much better than Naruto.  There are some nit-picky translation things that I could go on about that aren't important right now....what surprises me is that they changed 'shinigami' to soul reaper, but kept zanpaktou and kidou.  *shrug*

Uhh... but "cone" IS actually a pretty close English equivilant to コン. It's sure not pronounced "con", after all. Just the English word tends to draw out the vowel a liiittle bit longer than the Japanese, but otherwise, same.
