I had to go catch another black because the one I started out with is far from a stud. He wouldn't go near my pink or purple females, and I only got one orange egg from that breeding. *sigh*
There isn't. XD It's a random probability whenever you breed, alts just are just that much rarer than regular ones that they're harder to get. So far I've managed to breed one alt black and two vines (the second being claimed by a friend) since they were released.
