They're coming to take me away, haha.....
Jul. 30th, 2006 11:47 pmFelt like they should all day today anyway. Home all day with hubby and the Grand High Princess. Love them both to death but sometimes *puts hands at neck, makes choking sounds*. Finally got them out of the house by suggesting to go to my daughter's 3rd favorite place in the world (after Barnes & Noble and The Mall), The Pet Stop. I said there because unlike both her favorite 2 places, I can get out of there without buying anything...(Go MOM!) Seemed like a good idea at the time.....=_=.
The reason why she likes this particular pet store is because they let you handle and pet just about any and every kind of animal in the store, except for the fish of course. Usually she is content with holding a bunny and a guinea pig and then letting a parakeet perch on her finger......of course not today. Today was some kind of store anniversary so they had every kind of furry animal imaginable in glass open top pens for everyone to pick up. We walk in the door and a 6 year old suddenly can move at the speed of light. She handled 3 different kinds of bunnys, gerbils, hamsters, a RAT, a ferret, mice, a kitten, and a guinea pig. Then we moved to the reptiles where she wanted to hold the baby ball python someone was ready to buy. And she did........*sigh* She wanted to hold the taratula they had in the display case but mommy drew the line at spiders *shudder*. Then we moved on to the birds, where we held a cockitiel, a parakeet, and a lovebird. I felt like I had been to the zoo when I got home. (Although on the plus side I thought my husband was going to pass out when Chloe was holding the python *snorfle*). We won't be doing that again any time soon. And of course mom had to help with the petting and holding because dad is a big wimp and doesn't like animals, =_=. (Pfft!)
Anyway, Welcome back
ran_huo and
stereotype_vamp. I know you guys had a good time a Lumos in Vegas. You guys sounded so Cuuuuttttteeeee on your recordings ^_^. When you get caught up on Bleach, try not to rip your hair out or dress in sackcloth and ashes. I confess I was in a 3 day depression after the script came out on Wednesday. But feel better now that some theories are out about what could be behind it and talking it out.....
Meh, gotta go feed the cat before he wakes up the rest of the house.....
