Death Note seiyuus announced and....WTF?

Ok,  I admit, I have been STOKED about the Death Note anime.  Anything to take my mind off of Bleach fillers *weeps silently*.  Today on the Weekly Jump com, they announced the seiyuu choices the studio made.  I ..... I have one thing to say:

WTF?!!  Ok, so maybe I'm overreacting....*think happy thoughts*......but.......Kappei Yamaguchi as L??!!
MY L!!!!!!   NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a perfect world? Ginpei Sato....Mmmmm...His voice is smex. And it can be soft and dreamy or insinuating and stern...I always imagined his voice sounding smooth like his.

i also would have accepted Miki Shinichiro for your answer, he does urahara's voice..but i think it could also work with L, no?
