Death Note seiyuus announced and....WTF?

Ok,  I admit, I have been STOKED about the Death Note anime.  Anything to take my mind off of Bleach fillers *weeps silently*.  Today on the Weekly Jump com, they announced the seiyuu choices the studio made.  I ..... I have one thing to say:

WTF?!!  Ok, so maybe I'm overreacting....*think happy thoughts*......but.......Kappei Yamaguchi as L??!!
MY L!!!!!!   NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha ha! That's... really funny! Who did they give the voice of Raito/Light to?! Did they say! Tell meeeee~!

I like Kappei's voice! But... heh heh... that's cus he growls... He also does Shinpachi's voice from Peace Maker Kurogane... The short red-headed one... ::jumps:: But for L... Hmmm... I don't know...

Miyano Mamoru, he does Tamaki on Host Club.

Which I kind of think is o..k...

Don't get me wrong, I likeKappei's voice. He is THE InuYasha and Ranma voice as far as I'm concerned. But as far as L is concerned, it makes me shiver uncontrollably....

::curls into a ball and laughs:: What kills me about Miyano's voice is that he did Kiba from Wolf's Rain and freakin MOONDOGGIE from Eureka 7... Seriously... those two shouldn't sound the same at all...! but I haven't heard the Japanese track for either of those... sooooo...

But I imagine he'll warp his voice to better suit L... Some seiyuu and VA's have AMAZING ranges... I STILL can't get over Steven Blum playing Orochi-freakin-maru in Naruto...
